Botanee Group Central Factory New Base Officially Put into Operation – Enhancing Independent Production Capacity and Consolidating Development Foundation

On March 13, Botanee Group held the completion ceremony for its "Botanee Group Central Factory New Base" project in Majinpu, Chenggong District, Kunming City. The ceremony was attended by Yang Zhengxiao, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Director of the Standing Committee of Kunming Municipal People's Congress, as well as the leader of Kunming's biomedicine industrial chain, Xu Yiqing, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Kunming High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and relevant leaders of the Medical Products Administration of Yunnan Province, the Yunnan Province Science and Technology Department, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Yunnan Province, the Kunming Science and Technology Bureau, the Massive Health Development Management Office of People's Government of Kunming Municipality, the Kunming Administration for Market Regulation, and the Kunming High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guo Zhenyu, Chairman and President of Botanee Group, and the management team of the Group.

The construction project for the Central Factory New Base was initiated by Botanee Group in 2019 to drive its substantial development. The project commenced in July 2020 and was completed and accepted in December 2022, representing one of Yunnan's key projects in 2020. The "Botanee Group Central Factory New Base" covers an area of 80 mu (5.33 hectares), with a building area of 59,000 square meters and an investment of nearly RMB 500 million. It was designed for the production of cosmetics and medical devices, with an annual output value of RMB 5 billion. Simultaneously, a modern and industrialized technology research and development (R&D) platform was also established.

The "Botanee Group Central Factory New Base" is a representative of "smart factories" with a high level of automation, consisting of multiple units including plant extraction, preparation, filling, packaging, and storage. After the production lines are put into operation, Botanee Group's independent production capacity will be significantly enhanced. This will ensure product quality and production stability, cut down production costs, shorten production cycles, and guarantee balanced production. The production lines of the Central Factory New Base can operate automatically according to the specified procedures without manual intervention, thus reducing errors during the production process.

Regarding the original aspiration of constructing the new base of the central factory, Botanee Group stated that with the rapid sales growth in recent years, the Group relies more on entrusted processing. To further control production costs and ensure product quality, the Group decided to construct a new base of the central factory to increase the scale and proportion of its independent production.

Upon completion of the project, some equipment in the Group's original central factory will be moved to the new base.
